parsec info of s1223 #1

hi, i was checking out your repository and your master's thesis on airfoil optimisation as i wanted to do the same with different metaheuristics and was unable to replicate your results can you please provide the parsec info of s1223 so that i can reduce the search space. also it will be very nice of you if you could provide a way to find parsec info from dat file of an airfoil

Hello guys and thank you for reaching out. Regarding the topic: In the project I did, I used the PARSEC parametrization as a tool to generate new airfoils (a constructive method), not to deform or modify existing airfoils, for which purpose there are other kinds of tools (hicks-henne bumps, etc). So I do not have right now the PARSEC parametrization of the Seilig 1223.

If you can not find it anywhere, you maybe can try to do it yourself with a simple code given the coordinates of the airfoil, or "by hand" computing the values from an image. As you may know, you can find the airfoil characteristics here http://airfoiltools.com/airfoil/details?airfoil=s1223-il
