Addon not working on with new Grooveshark URL #32

I'm not sure what happened, but when I booted up today, I noticed that the remote no longer appears on my add-on toolbar. I disabled, removed, reinstalled, rebooted, but still no dice.

I'm running FF 4.0 on win7 x64.

Any ideas?

Apparently grooveshark changed the URL of the player from listener.grooveshark.com to simply grooveshark.com... Thats not good news, as the addon doesn't know that change. I'll try to update it as soon as I can.

I actually wondered about that myself as I noticed another issue submitted regarding preview.grooveshark.com. Maybe you can kill 2 birds with one stone?

Anyways, thanks for the add-on. Until today, it's been great!

Yeah, probably that will do. I think preview.grooveshark.com won't be as supported as the main site (I don't have a pro nor anywhere subscription), but at least would work.

I just got an Anywhere subscription. They have a promotion going on right now where if you donate $20 to Japan Tsunami relief, you get a 1 year subscription for free!

I never really thought I needed a paid account at $6 or $9/month, but @$20/year, I dove in. And the blackberry app runs great on my Torch.

Also, if you want the new version RIGHT NOW, get it from the not yet reviewed link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/grooveshark-remote-control/versions/0.3.1

Will close this bug once the addon gets reviewed.

Addon has been reviewed and automatic update is doing it's job. Closing this bug.
