I have just recently began using MongoDB at work and at home. I have found that installing MongoDB locally takes upwards of 40 minutes for the install. Over an hour on my work machine. Did you do the locally hosted option or go with Mongo's free tier?

@djhunter67 I'm going for a local option for now. I don't recall it taking that long to set up, but it's been a minute since I've set it up, so I may very well be mistaken.

I still haven't decided if Mongo is right for this project or not. I've been focused on the MVP, which is local gameplay between two players. Once I delve further into realtime online play, I'll be researching this more.
