owamp.log empty on Ubuntu #63

In a default perfsonar testpoint or toolkit install, the owamp-server log file, i.e. /var/log/perfsonar/owamp.log is owned by perfsonar:perfsonar. This causes a problem on Ubuntu with rsyslogd running as user syslog:adm: 

Oct 28 16:02:34 nuc-u18 rsyslogd: file '/var/log/perfsonar/owamp.log': open error: Permission denied [v8.32.0 try http://www.rsyslog.com/e/2433 ]
