Make this a normal integration, not just an "add-on" which many people can't use #116

Add-ons are not supported on normal Home Assistant installations (like using Docker or Home Assistant Core). For a lot of users it's impossible to use your excellent integration at all, if they don't buy new hardware to install the Home Assistant OS fully. Can you provide an option to install this as normal integration? Or through the Home Assistant Community Store (HACS)?

believe me, i want to BUT, the SDK files supplied by Hikvision being used by this project, are NOT supported on Alpine, HA, uses Alpine , so its not compatible... Thats why we have created the addon, based on debian image

So a custom component is not possible... already asked hikvision to have support for more OS, but wont gonna happen :-(

hey! I'm getting This add-on is not compatible with the processor of your device or the operating system you have installed on your device.. I have Home Assistant 2023.8.1 with Supervisor 2023.08.1 running on a raspberry pi which runs on Raspbian GNU/Linux 10 (buster)

is there any way to make it work?

Hi, i'm afraid i cant help you :-(

This addon makes use of the SDK supplied by Hikvision, and its indeed limited to some architecture, i already requested before to make a new SDK, but it was blocked,

I think if you really want to use this addon, is to buy a RPI with aarch64
