Synthesizer doesn't have enough internal storage to use the diamond recipe. #59

60K MJ to make a diamond, Internal storage is capped at 9999 or 10K MJ.

Is this pr4+? Try spawning a new synthesiser and see if the cap is higher.

That fixed it. Old synthesizers need to be remade to have the higher cap.
