Stuck in Ancient Tomb #4, unable to find 4th MIA and still got no jetpack #1

Hi!

I'm stuck in Ancient Tomb #4, the only unlocked mission I have not yet completed. I can find 3 MIAs and complete all other objectives. But the mission objective requires me to rescue 4 MIAs to complete the mission. I have searched the entire level for clues but it just looks it is impossible to reach any of the other MIAs without a jetpack. After I reached the crystal, I am stuck on the platform forever and can't return. There's a MIA right below the place where the crystal was, but it's seemlingly impossible to reach for me. I still have no jetpack and I have searched for a loooong time in all levels to find the jetpack but I just didn't find it. I play in hard difficulty.

Now either the jetpack is REALLY well hidden or this is a bug. This level looks like it assumes I already have a jetpack.

Here are the save files: https://www.load.to/7EAGgcBRQl/saves.zip

Can you look into this, please?

I use version 2.00, from Arch Linux (package version 2.00-2).

I just tried this level and was able to rescue the 4 MIAs. Are you aware that there are stone blocks that can be pushed? They are vertical blocks, a little thinner than the normal tiles. You can push these onto pressure plates to weigh them down and also push them into positions where you can jump on them.

The jetpack does not become available until the 3rd boss battle.

OK, I finally figured out how to solve this level.

The MIA I failed to rescue was the very first one. I have overlooked and forgotten the very first ancient key. I ignored the first teleporter because I somehow thought it was useless. With this key I could finally enable the first elevator. This was my fault. :D

Still, I think the mission has a design problem.

As I said previously, it is possible to enter the crystal room with less than 4 MIAs. Once you collected the crystal, there is no turning back! It seems impossible to return to try to rescue any MIAs you have forgotten. This is because of the steep drop after the gate.

So if you rescued less than 4 MIAs but already collected the crystal, you have basically lost and must restart the mission completely.

I believe a simple elevator or some stone blocks behind the gate (to help you return) would fix this.

Indeed, you can make the jump now to the vertically moving lift on the left:

tomb4-lift-jump

If you can't, then you're forced to activate the right one, and then you would naturally ride it up and rescue the first MIA. Note that you can still choose to not rescue the MIA and get stuck at the reality crystal. There are two chasms you can't cross going back without a jetpack.

A partial fix would be to have the alcove with the shard moved up (and the lowest point of the corresponding lift moved up as well), so you can't make the jump to it anymore without activating the right lift.

Another idea would be to simply place a teleporter somewhere in the final section; it activates after you collect the crystal.

It would teleport you back into the first room with all the elevators. From this room you can access the entire level, so it's impossible to get stuck.
