About Perpetual

Perpetual Protocol is a a decentralized protocol for trading perpetual futures contracts. Being the first fully decentralized protocol it allows DeFi natives, DAOs, treasuries and other participants the ability to build and implement strategies fully on chain. Some strategy ideas we have seen suggested include:

• Market neutral yield farming (long yield farm and short the asset to remove price exposure)
• Funding rate arbitrage (hold or short ETH on margin and take the opposing long/short position on Perpetual Protocol)

About the Bounty

With the growing DeFi space and the constant search for yield, the Perpetual Protocol team has seen and been asked by many varying projects to integrate and form partnerships. We are but a small team with limited time and as such are turning to the community for help!

Perpetual Protocol will run this program as a 4 week trial, with initial grants being in the range of 5-20k grant in PERP vested over 6 months. Grants will be awarded on successful implementation.

Criteria

• Strategy must be on-chain and must utilize Perpetual Protocol
• Strategy must go live (e.g. if building on x protocol that is a DAO, then it must be approved by governance and pushed into production)

Grant

• We expect this to take up to 8 weeks
• 2.4k - 4.8k PERP, vested over 1 year

For Funding rate arbitrage, does it mean that someone need write a contract to realize the strategy to arbitrage between perp and some other center exchange?
