On second thought, the zooming function we have now is ok. Maybe auto-cropping
can save a few touches. By the way, preference can't be saved in
orion_viewer_0.31.1_test6

What preferences couldn't be saved? What device do you have?

And what version of android do you use?

I'm using ICS 4.03. I installed 29.3, 31.1, beta7, trying to find the problem.
But with no luck. I only noticed that sometimes when you change "big crop,
horizontal/vertical screen overlapping" values and save them, then open them,
the values are not changed. But I can't reproduce it now. Anyway, those options
are not important. So,just leave it for now till some other people come across
the problem. Maybe it's my own problem.
I don't know what's the point of "close dialog on apply". Of couse you close
it, why leave the dialogue there? So maybe this option is not necessary. And
what does @2131099741/742 mean?
Keep up the good work! It's the best program and I love it!

BTW, "Screen Orientation and Big crop" could be saved when I used 29.3 or 31.1.
I just don't know when they stopped working. The results are inconsistent

..."big crop, horizontal/vertical screen overlapping"..:it was a bug on
0.29.3, engine doesn't recognize one symbol numbers and it's fixed in 0.31. But
it strangerous that it doesn't save properties at all in 0.31.
Where did you find "@2131099741/742" option? If it in preference - what
preferences above and under this one?

When i press menu button, there comes @..99713 on the top of the dialog page,
above page layout. 913 brings up the "contrast" dialog. Then i tap options,
...741 and 742 appear in the same roll right under device info. ...742 is
smaller and darker than 741.
The options in "my preferences" are supposed to be applicable to all books,
right? Maybe you can put the "options" beside "close" when we press the menu
button. Right now you have to open a book to access the preference dialog,
which is not logical to me.

There are 2 kinds of preferences, a general one applies to all books, and a specific one tailored to each book. right?

Yes, you are right there are 2 kind of preferences.
As i understand instead of some label you see numbers, i't very
strangerous...maybe it a bug in android or issue with locale, do you have
chinese locale?

I don't have @...94x with version 29.3,and 31.1. When I switch to Chinese
language(I assume you mean system language by locale), it's still the same.
So,it's a problem with beta 7
