We still have to brainstorm and think if we come up with a better architecture that does not require us to harden our logic against a users desire to clean stuff up...

After discussing this in a meeting, I'm taking over the issue. We discussed the following scope for the issue:

[x] Track internal and user subscriptions separately, allow user to clean up his own subscriptions.
[x] Internally, keep track of all subscribed topics (global+individual balance proof and receipt subscriptions, epoch shifts).
[ ] Re-issue subscribe calls on automatic reconnect based on tracked topics.
