Why are CSS/JS assets not being Gzipped? #230

At least that's what Google Pagespeed Insights is reporting... Does the line in apps/drupal/drupal.conf with the comment '##All static files will be served directly' mean that gzipping is bypassed for css/js files?

As an aside, I tried advagg, thought it was giving too much overhead, so switched to the magic module. Now I'm tempted to benchmark advagg again to see if I didn't have it set up wrong before. Perhaps that would help?

Headers reporting being gzipped, Google claiming otherwise. Odd!
