Please add release notes #1035

Please add release notes. I would like to know what has changed since last release being used.

Agreed. I'm currently trying to upgrade an older project and there are breaking changes everywhere. Being able to at least see what the major API changes are would be a huge help. In particular, the transition from jetty 2.3 to 2.4 needs to be documented.

We'll try to be better at this in the future, but we won't be adding notes for past versions.
