Also updates dependencies that didn't cause build issues for me.

Build failure is unrelated to the PR, I'll have to check it later :(

Ah yes it is related to the MR. Because I updated the x/tools and they require go 1.19. Didn't notice it because I have the latest go version locally. I can either update the pipeline to use Go 1.19 or revert that change. Up to you :)
