foobar2000 0.9.5 not working #15

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Plugin name?
listeningtow.dll

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install the plugin
2. Turn on foobar2000 0.9.5
3. Noting appears on status message

Following these steps, I would expect it to insert he Artist and Title on
the Status Message. Nothing happens, though.

using foo_msnalt.dll as the foobar plugin, btw...

ListeningTo does not show anything in status message. It sets the listening to
info
in protocols that support it. Which protocols are you using? How do you know
that it
isn't working? Have you enabled it in main menu? Can you please post your
version info?

Using Miranda 0.7.3 Unicode and ListeningTo (latest version). I am using the
MSN
protocol, which supports ListeningTo. I enabled it on the My Details menu and
in the
Miranda menu.
I say it isn't working because nothing seems to happen. in Windows Messenger,
as you
know, the status message would be replace with the "Listening To..."
information.
However this does not happen. It simply remains like this, even though I'm
listening
to something in foobar2000 and the plugin seems active in foobar options:

Hello
You don't need to use msn alt plugin. You have to copy the file foo_ml.dll into
your
foobar 2000\components folder restart foobar and hope for the best. For me it is
working like a charm.
If for some strange reason you still would like to use msn alt plugin then you
should
enable windows media player support in the listeningto plugin because what the
msn
alt foobar 2000 component does is it just emulates windows media player
listening info.

Sorry, completely forgot about this. It was a issue on foobar itself, it seems.
A
installation of a newer version seemed to fix it.
