Can you put an email address or useful Contact info in your README. I'd like to get in contact about peshitta and peshitta.org and gitter.im doesn't work for me, and I won't use X/facebook.

Can you also give a simple comman line example of how/if I could use this to convert a Peshitta.org/CAL ASCII encoded word to UTF-8?

This library is used here: https://peshitta.github.io/text I use that utility all the time, to quickly convert between various scripts and transliterations. Note that Estrangela ASCII text can be found in both RTL and LTR directions. RTL/LTR button is for that. Example of usage: https://github.com/peshitta/peshitta/blob/main/src/map/TextMap.js

As for peshitta.org, I have no direct affiliation with that is Shamasha Paul Younan's site, that's not me.
