Alpha Centauri Font paths #1

I've had an issue with font paths on Archlinux. There are two possible fixes:

Choose one.

I tried adding the AC directory to fonts directories list, and saw no difference. What are the symptoms? Does installing the corefonts package change anything?

(The only font that may be worth making sure it's available is ALPHC___.TTF, for the other (Arial) installing the corefonts package from PlayOnLinux is probably the way to go. It could be that it works for me because Arial is installed system-wide (at least as an alias), and that the game either mostly uses Arial or uses Arial as a fallback when its specific font is not found.)

Also, would copying the fonts into the prefix's windows/Fonts directory be a third way to fix your problem? I'd prefer not have any effect outside of the game if I can avoid it.

The symptoms are barely readable fonts. The windows/Fonts part might work.
