Cannot fetch feeds from HTTPS sites. #73

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Choose RSS feeds from NetworkWorld.com or Economist.com
  2. Install HTTPS-Everywhere
  3. Sage balks at HTTPS feed even though the URL will resolve.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Sage hangs on the feed and then becomes unusable. You have to restart Firefox.

What version of Sage are you using? 1.4.12

What version of Firefox are you using? On what operating system? 5.0

Please provide any additional information below.

From black98f...@gmail.com on August 06, 2011 01:02:59 Hmmm actually appears to be a problem with HTTPS-Everywhere. If you manually change the feed to HTTPS it seems to work OK. I've reported this to them as well. Thanks.
