Firefox UI frozen sporadically when user mark all items as read

What steps will reproduce the problem?

[Preconditions]

Have "Feed item order" = Chronological
Checked [x] "Render feeds in content areas" and "Allow HTML Tags"
Source folder select a bookmark folder which accumulates live bookmars from Firefox.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Sporadically UI got frozen:

From tree of source feeds items disapeared (tree node visible, but feed name is gone)
Firefox tabs can't be closed
Firefox can't be closed (only manual process kill stops FF).

What version of Sage are you using? 1.4.12

What version of Firefox are you using? On what operating system? 6.0

Please provide any additional information below.

This problem was observed also on previous versions of Sage as well as on FF 5.0
This problem is agnostic to number of items under feed.
observed using process explorer that there is no process activity in FFF when this issue occurs (no heavy plugin processing underneath).

This issue does not appear anymore on Firefox versions 7 and 8 (resp. is was not reproducible on newer FF versions than previously reported).
