Allow users to edit correctly formatted FHX files #153

Open eksutherland opened 8 years ago

At present, if an FHX file is correctly formatted the user cannot edit it. There are valid reasons for which the user might want to do this; to correct a data error for example, or to change the series labels. Not an urgent issue but should be changed.

Umm... not sure what you mean here Elaine. FHX files can be edited. Can you elaborate?

Peter, If FHAES does the format check and finds a file to be formatted correctly, you can't then edit it. For example, you might want to change the sample codes for whatever reason.

I may be doing something ridiculously wrong but try it.

Here is an IMPD file at random. Edits fine with double click, right click > edit and with Edit > Edit file menu options. Not sure how you are getting the impression you can't edit files. Are you getting an error message? What method are you using to edit?
