Chicken and egg - recording and events

At the moment you cannot add an event in a year before the recording status is set to 'on', but likewise you cannot add a 'recording' record before the first event is entered. This is making data entry a little clumsy.

The vast majority of the time a tree starts recording in the year it first detects an event, and continues recording until the last year. It would therefore be best if when the first event is added that the recording status is set from this year to the last year.

It should also be possible to add a 'recording' record before the first event is entered.
