3d print material #1

Hello, I chose PETG for printing, but it may not be the best material. The smaller piece tends to bend, and it doesn't line up properly with the larger piece. Is there a preferred printing material for this type of use, perhaps more rigid ?

I used PLA printed on a bambulab. Can you take and pictures?

I think more flaps to hold it in place could work.

If you want a quick fix you could print some small sheets and glue them on the bottom or top part so it's held in place.

Not sure when I'll have time to actually fix that in the model.

Unfortunately I don't have a 3D printer, I used the Craftcloud service. That's why I asked you if there was a stiffer material, I could then order a new print only for the part concerned.

You could use some stiffer plastic, e.g. from packaging and glue it to the bottom part on the inside if you are ok with a bit of diy. Then this would hold the top part in place. I think this is a structural issue that has to be otherwise solved in the model as the antennas put a bit of pressure with a lever effect which will result in warping a bit.

I probably have to add a better frame that goes around the whole thing instead of just the corners.
