Hi peteletroll, this is the localized language (Chinese) I provided for this mod. dictionary-zh-cn.txt

Hi Aebestach, thanks for your contribution! I checked your translation with Google Translate, and I see you have a question mark on the #DCKROT_rotate_to_snap entry: Google Translate says your traslation corresponds to "Rotate to previous position?", when the original english text is "Rotate to snap". The actual meaning of this is "rotate to the closest multiple of the rotation step". It basically alignes things after docking: if your docking angle is 0.74°, it rotates to 0° to align everything. Let me know if you want to fix this, or if maybe your translation is fine and Google Translate is just confusing me.

Hi, thank you for your reply. When I added a question mark at the time, it was because I couldn’t fully grasp the translation of this sentence, so I added a question mark. And if the translation of this sentence is longer, it will highlight that it is not appropriate. However, after your reply to me and after thinking about it for a while, perhaps this translation would be more accurate. If you can, please help me to revise it, thank you. The translation is as follows: 旋转回最近整数倍角

peteletroll commented 1 year ago

Google Translate says "旋转回最近整数倍角" means "Rotate back to nearest integer multiple angle". I find this (in English, of course, I can't read Chinese) a little misleading: "back" is somewhat wrong, because it makes you think that it returns to a previous rotation, and this is not true in general; "integer multiple angle" doesn't sound so good in English, but maybe is fine in Chinese. Anyway, if you think the Chinese is fine, I can add it as it is. Thanks again, and sorry for being a nitpick :-)

This is a very tricky translation. Because the English snap in Chinese means sudden, hurried. There's no way for me to refine the Chinese description for him, so maybe we can just leave this sentence untranslated and take it straight to English.
