I have tried to search varies places but none is able to give me the answer for some queries I have and received from others about Telegram integration. I am hoping if anyone here is able to provide some feedback based on some questions that have been bouncing around:
If an app developer wanted to add telegram into his app for chat capability (iOS and Android), does he need to release all his codes as open source? The app main functionality is not related to chat, but Telegram is only used as to add chat as a secondary function. In this case, does it force the app developer to release all his code as open source (including his main app functionality) or just the portion related to chatting?
Can an app developer fork Telegram open source code and then develop it as a separate module and release this portion as open source. He would then integrate the module into his app for chat functionality. Would this still compliance with the license?
Fundamentally we wanted to know to what extend Telegram wanted us to release our code as open source.
