help installing #14

my install died with the following

src/lxml/lxml.etree.c:16:20: fatal error: Python.h: No such file or directory

any clues why ?

problem solved - debian (and ubuntu) don't automatically install python-dev

Just met the same issue.

And I've installed pyhton-dev libxslt1-dev and libxml2-dev to work this out.
