Sonoff D1 Dimmer #220

Was going to buy the Sonoff D1 dimmer from aliexpress since its cheap and I cant afford much at this point. Will it work with this and do i need any exta hardware to get this working with HA? Also will it work if internet is down? Is there any other dimmer you would suggest insted for a 230v led downlights. Thanks for any help

In the native application these devices work in LAN mode without the Internet. Therefore, this plugin should work. It may need to add a bit of code to support a dimmer. The dimmer itself works fine. Only he is the simplest type - Leading-edge dimmer. It is advisable to choose LED-lamps that work normally with this type of dimmer. For example Phillips Gold Series (not Silver).
