Spike: Verify Chainlink VRF Compatibility on Galadriel Devnet

Ticket ID: SP-15

Type: Spike

Priority: High

Assignee: [fakename]

Objective

Investigate and document the compatibility of Chainlink VRF with the Galadriel devnet, and if not compatible, research alternative randomness solutions.

Tasks

  1. Verify if Galadriel devnet natively supports Chainlink VRF.
  2. If supported: a. Document the process of integrating Chainlink VRF on Galadriel. b. Identify any Galadriel-specific configurations or limitations.
  3. If not supported: a. Research alternative randomness solutions compatible with Galadriel. b. Evaluate at least two alternative solutions in terms of security, cost, and ease of implementation.
  4. Test the chosen randomness solution (Chainlink VRF or alternative) on Galadriel devnet.

Acceptance Criteria

Time Box

1-2 days

Outcome

This research will guide our approach to implementing secure randomness generation for Skia Poker on the Galadriel devnet, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
