Limited functionality on cloud #12

Hi,

We have activated Glossary for Confluence Cloud on our test cloud. I have tried testing all functionality but bumped into some obstacles.

  1. It is impossible to add terms directly from Confluence pages. When I try to add terms and the "Create term" popup appears, it does not show anything in Space dropdown menu. So, I cannot fill all the fields to finish the term creation.
  2. Glossary configuration from Admin panel is unavailable. There is only one message on the page saying, “Error! Licence error please contact your administrator.”
  3. Also, I downloaded the browser extension to highlight the terms on the page. However, when I click on Glossary label on a page it shows link to Installing browser extension even when I already did it. Page refreshing does not help.

Can you tell me which of these are bugs and which of these are just limitations of the plugin trial mode? I want to resolve these issues to see if this plugin is a good fit for us.

Regards

Hi @plusminuscode,

Thanks for reaching out with your inquires and sorry for the late reply. For this kind of inquiry our email support channel would be better suited, as this page is rather our tracker for known issues.

Regarding your questions:

  1. I am not sure I understand the issue correctly. Can you please send screenshots of the popup and where you exactly you click to create a term?
  2. Usually, you see this error when the license is not active or retrieving your license from Confluence did not work. However, I need the name of your Confluence instance and your license ID to debug this error.
  3. This could be a bug in the software, you should not see this message anymore as soon as you have installed the extension. Does it bother your experience with the add-on?

I am sure we will be able to resolve this issues soon. Please send me the screenshots and the information about your Confluence instance. I would suggest to switch to our secure and private email support channel (support@bordant.com).

Best, Peter
