Idea: Double status bar... other way of doing it #153

The problem with the status bar implementation is that instead of being non-obtrusive it becomes even more annoying, as it hides the whole status bar (clock and other stuff)... In my opinion you could dim then notification view after about 15 seconds to the standard double bar with a text saying something like "2 new notifications" and when taping on it the black notification view would come back (I don't like the black background, btw) Anyway... just an idea... If you ask me, though... I would still prefer the android implementation of it... Good luck, and more importantly, have fun doing it!

Or, at least an icon in the status bar.... A non-obtrusive way of knowing that you have notifications...
