Is it OK to use greek letters for the single letter command line options?

Hmm, alpha works (Greek Small Letter Alpha) but sometimes seeing $'-?\235\233?' in macOS bash for the "Mathematical Italic Small Gamma", and on AppVeyor Logs $'-�\235\233�'

Maybe ɣ would be better, Latin Small Letter Gamma?

Greek Small Letter Gamma (γ) works on AppVeyor, and consistent with Greek Small Letter Alpha (α) so will use that.
