These are sequences from our nursery and environment sequencing to date, seen in at least five samples. Specifically the edit-graph was computed with edits of up to 3bp defining connected components, and the most abundant sequence in each component was considered where it was not matched at species level.
This analysis identified these 15 candidate novel Phytophthora (and a few additional published entries added in https://github.com/peterjc/thapbi-pict/pull/593), plus more non-Phytophthora candidates.
The proposed novel species have been given a taxon label of the first 7 letters of the MD5 checksum as a placeholder (rather than sp1 to sp15 etc).
Note three of these do have a preexisting perfect match without the leading 32bp, where we might want to use the existing taxonomic assignment...
