CircleCI timing out during database bootstrapping #626

Specifically it hangs after printing Confirming with git that database/ITS1_DB.fasta is unchanged which was logging added in 47c33b9a63c44fb8d1ec626e288c5caa501ec387

Reducing the scope of the git diff to just the one file didn't fix this: 926cc5008da35c00846b86b8d311d01cf6226e48

Noticed during pull request #625, which puts the time frame for a CircleCI change in 22 May to 3 June...
