HOT Board (and analog in not working) #6

After doing no hardware changes, the analog ports stopped working , and the arduino power managing board got exceptionally hot (80 degrees+ ?). I suspect either:

a short somewhere, or
something to do with the analog reference voltage. I had previously changed it to INTERNAL2V56 and has worked, but it's a possible culprit.

The Arduino itself had something wrong with it. Having been replaced, the sensors work fine
