Did you try to compile git/git? #66

Did you ever try to compile the "reference" git?

The one at https://github.com/git/git =)

This would give a full-fledged CLI ;)

Any potential problems doing the similar thing as you did with git/git?

I didn't actually. I remember considering it, but forgot why I chose not to. This is about 5 years ago now.
