Steps:

download latest release https://github.com/nix-community/NixOS-WSL
follow quick start
fix rebuild switch error https://github.com/nix-community/NixOS-WSL/issues/483#issuecomment-2153608425
change wsl.defaultUser to "peter"
change networking.hostName to "wsl"
