Custom RSS Discovery Content Feeds #510

Requesting the ability to add custom RSS feeds for content (movie/tv) recommendations. For example, this site has dozens of curated movie recommendation feeds that would be great if we could selectively add the feeds we prefer to PETIO's Movie Discovery page as individual rows like the others found there, same for TV shows.

Could you be more specific about what rss feeds and how you think this should work? There is an expected amount of information required from the rss to work with our current system.

Sure. My thoughts would be that each RSS feed would produce a new 'custom' row on the movie or tv shows discovery pages, similar to how they populate now in the attached screenshot. Similar to how there's a "GEORGE LUCAS" MOVIES line, you'd have an "XYZ FEED" MOVIES for each of the custom feeds you define. Perhaps when entering an RSS feed, it would parse it and you could assign the feed's fields to PETIO's required/optional fields somehow, if PETIO couldn't auto detect what feed fields were present. Not sure if this makes sense but it would be how I'd envision it working based on what I'm familiar with. image
