I use multiple tags with my sonarr/radarr content (in sonarr/radarr). However, petio only allows for a single radarr/sonarr tag to selected when using filters. However, sonarr/radarr allow for multiple tags per movie/show. These tags are then used to determine which indexer or download client sonarr/radarr will use. Or just for general organization purposes.
ie tagging something as both anime and requested to denote thats its anime content and originated from a user request. or for 4k vs 1080p content, etc
