A draft for translation screen:

Have you an idea how to manage language specific characters display ? For this draft only EN and FR are enabled.

I have no idea how to make national characters work at the moment. I am afraid it will need some serious research. The recent approach is ANSI only, I am afraid.

Do you refer to ANSI as explained here (see bottom paragraph) If yes, display should be accurate at least for selected languages.

it is not possible at the moment, but it should be possible to extend TBGL_FontHandle.

thanks again for pointing to the TBGL flaw - I am starting the research on CodePages and TBGL.

In the meantime - I would propose one change to this code, if I may.

Instead of having for example [Q]uit as identifier, what about having something like Navigation.Quit? Instead of [P]lay for example Navigation.Play.

To give more detailed example:

me.endText.Put(i18nh("Navigation.Quit"))

Ah. You didn't get it. Please, take a while to see thinternational . It has unicode limitations (that I can't overcome without dev of Eros) but for the rest it works. The intent of the tool is to separate the process of translation from the development process. Keys are auto-generated from the strings originally present in the scripts.

My idea was to have the strings in the script "neutral" and the real strings in the XML.

Because it makes more sense to me to have Warning.LowOxygen as key instead of Find a bubble, quick! Oxygen
