Tapo plug not registering being turned on error 1003 #781

Version of the integration

V2. 9.1 Its not latest version, but problem is so intermittent, I'm logging anyway in case you are able to shed any light on it for me. Like what error 1003 no message actually means?

Describe the bug

Home assistant is not registering the device has turned on, getting error

This error originated from a custom integration.

Tapo exception: Returned unknown error_code: 1003 msg: No message

I later reloaded the device which I think triggered this warning

Default protocol not working, fallback to KLAP ;)

I thought I had fixed by reinstalling with plugs on, but then same happened today, the plug power went blue 0w, but the switch stayed unavailable.

So I have now reverted back to v2....

How do I find out what my previous version was. Other than restoring a backup.
