It's currently impossible to make diborane, which is needed for alkene/alkyne borohydration reactions. However, it is possible to make borohydride anions, which in real life will form diborane when reacted with dilute sulfuric acid.
There is also no other current use for borohydride, so I think some reaction just didn't get programmed in.
