This is an attempt to move the structure of this repository closer to that of the GF standard. This will make it easier for onboarders to assess and build the fonts. What you need to know:
There's a Makefile you can use to build the font. Run make build and everything should work as before.
There's now a requirements.txt file to make it easier to set up the virtual environment. You can also make venv to build the virtual environment in a directory called venv.
The main build script is now scripts/build.py. make build will build the venv and run the build script in the venv.
There is a GitHub action which should build the fonts on push, but I can't tell if it works or not until we merge the workflow.
I made the "adding paints" step run in the background because it's so horribly slow; now the build script can get on with other font builds while waiting for the paint compiler.
