How important is to keep all the addons working in Plask and browser environment at the same time?

Are we ok with addons working only with Plask and how to inform that particular addon needs Plask runtime environment? We can introduce consistent README file format for all the addons, so information like supported runtime environment will visible and easy to find.

I just proposed new pex-typo implementation that works only with Plask, so I thought it is a good moment to start a discussion on this topic. https://github.com/vorg/pex-typo/pull/2

Well, it's good to make it if possible but it's not expected in every case. I agree it would be good to have a consistent README.

@dawidgorny @szymonkaliski Any experience with stability badges?

When it comes to typography itself I have a SDF rendering working in Plask/Browser that might be same of another module.

I never used stability badges, but I think it is worth to have it in the README template.

SDF technique for rendering text looks interesting but lacks all the tools that Plask/Skia provides for obtaining font metrics I used to lay out a multiline text.

My past self would disagree :)
