Shariff wrapper sharing buttons are pulled into the post for Bridgy #19

STR with current ZenPress and the Indieweb plugins:

  1. Make sure to install the Shariff Wrapper and configure it to your liking. Defaults should do for this.
  2. Create a new post. A. Set its format to Status, and its Kind to Note. B. Don't enter a title. Only enter text in the main body. C. Set Bridgy to post to Twitter, and set the Shariff buttons to be used for this post.
  3. Hit Publish.

Result: Post gets published and posted to Twitter. The resulting permalink is added to the syndicated links automatically.

Now, view the post on Twitter. An example can be seen here. The heading and text of the Shariff buttons is being pulled into the post along with the rest of the post itself, if that still fits. In my case, it did.

Hey Marco, das Problem ist, dass Shariff die Buttons an den Content mit dran hängt... Bridgy geht dann davon aus dass die Shariff Buttons Teil des Posts sind... das Problem wirst du mit jedem anderen Theme auch haben und leider gibt es bisher keine gute Möglichkeit das zu verhindern...

... außer du schreibst so viel Text dass Twitter den Rest abschneidet 😉

OK, verstehe, danke Dir! Also entweder sollten die Shariff-Leute das besser auszeichnen, oder man sollte mit dem Excerpt arbeiten. Und das unabhängig vom tatsächlich verwendeten Theme...
