Fix inputpeaks over-reporting #20

A novel mistake of not resetting the timer every 10 seconds. Also made the error message more readable to the end user.

As I wrote in my comment to Pull Request #18, I'm still not entirely convinced that not printing Input Peaks to the console by default is a good idea. However, this change does improve the message that is written if Input Peaks are too high. So, lets continue forward with this for now.
