Washington state consistently doesn't breakdown catch by the finer PSMFC areas (e.g. 3A, 3B) but only reports the larger INPFC areas (e.g. "Columbia", "Vancouver").
The amount of WA catch that is missed using the finer PSMFC areas varies by species and year.
Using the verbose option of the PacFIN.Catch.Extraction() function, the Canary catch can be seen to start getting worse in the year 2000:

The WA Petrale catch isn't too bad until 2010:
This contrasts to Sablefish catch which is bad for all years, but perhaps varies by gear:
