Bridging analysis #13

We get to do a bridging analysis from the last bechmark (2015). Check the TOR on steps required.

From @chantelwetzel-noaa, steps she used for last cycle's dover Figures 74-81 roughly followed

  1. Update the Stock Synthesis executable.

  2. Modify the 2015 model structure (e.g., combine fleets) and re-run the model.

  3. Process all new data according to the new model structure. Add each updated data piece through 2014 one at a time: catch, catch + indices, catch + indices + length, catch + indices + lengths + ages, catch + indices + lengths + ages with data weighting.

  4. Add additional data between 2015-2022 one at a time updating the same process taken above.

  5. Update the priors for M and h as appropriate.

  6. Add any additional key model changes that may not have been included in step 2 or 5.

Alternatively, you could do all of the major model structure changes last, however, that does force you to work up the data twice following the 2015 and new structure.

Jason showed a brief bridging from SS3 v3.24 to v3.30 at the pre-assessment workshop for OR black rockfish

Add the update assessments too (2017 and 2019 I think)
