On Ubuntu 14.04 with Chromium, I see:
chromeIPass Version:2.6.7
KeePassHttp Version:1.8.3.0
Maybe you manually sideloaded a package from Github or elsewhere at some point? Try uninstalling and re-installing through the Chrome Web Store. If you have installed directly from Git at some point, that could be a possible cause.
Nope, the extension was synced automatically via google profile (so it's from the store - but I tried uninstalling and installing again from here).
Perhaps the location of KeePass/Http is not the default and the extension cannot check for it otherwise? I keep my keepass at this path: /home/pavel/Apps/keepass
, which I'm pretty sure is not the default.
In chromeIPass options (general and about pages) it always displays
KeePassHttp Version:unknown
even after updating to latest versionOS: Fedora 19 Google Chrome: 34.0.1847.132 chromeIPass: 2.6.7 KeePassHttp: 1.8.3
Perhaps the version detection of the plugin is faulty under mono? Can anyone verify that the version is displayed properly in other OSes ?
