In pgAdmin 1.16.1 I open the Login Role Properties dialog and on the Role priveleges tab try to uncheck "Superuser". A dialog box pops up:
Whether I click Yes or No, the checkbox becomes checked again, so I have no way to remove the superuser privilege (using the GUI).

Deleting a superuser might result in unwanted behaviour (e.g. when restoring the database). Are you sure?
