PgAdmin has stopped working 'since' version 8.10 on Win 10 or 11 #8064

I've been using PG for decades. Fantastic Database!

The installed PgAdmin has stopped working 'since' v8.10 of the installer on Windows 10 or 11. The v7.8 works fine.

The service fails to start when I uninstall the previous version and install any of the latest versions, v8.10, v8.11 or v8.12.

I install only for the current user.

I do not clean up any remaining directories after uninstalling (I have tried this though to see if it helps, which it does not).

I expect the app to start after a fresh install or upgrade. This has always been the case until v8.10

The start screen times out and displays the option to configure. I have tried numerous configuration options, but fail to get the service started.

There are no log files that contain anything of use for diagnosis.

Reverting to v7.8 is the last working version. Following the same procedure of uninstall v8.x and reinstall v7.8 works just fine.

Hi @AndyGee Can you please share %APPDATA/local/pgadmin4/pgadmin4.<timestamp>.log file?
