Which Google API and version (e.g. Google Tasks API version 1)?

Hi,
I want to Use the API V3 version for .net and I want it to use the API key and 
client secret, currently I'm unable to even connect to the calendar and the 
sample code posted in Google developers site doesn't work. can anyone provide 
sample code to connect to Google calendar using API key and add single event?

I recommend you to open an issue in StackOverflow using 
google-api-dotnet-client tag.
I'm pretty sure you will get faster response there.
