Hi @pgmichael, thanks so much for creating this extension! I have a feature request to play a selected piece of text upon executing a keyboard shortcut!

Thanks so much! Jonathan

Hi @jonleung, Thanks for the suggestion!

I've just updated the extension and you should be able to use Ctrl+Shift+S ( or Cmd+Shift+S on macOS) to listen to the selected text.

If the default binding does not suit you, it's easily changeable by visiting the following URL in your browser: chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

Let me know if you need anything else!

Wanted to share that I actually your tool for a therapy practice called Focusing where traditionally you work with another person to do it. https://www.amazon.com/Focusing-Eugene-T-Gendlin/dp/0553278339

In the practice, I would say something, and my "focusing partner" would reflect it back to me. If they're a novice, they would just parrot back what I said the first time. If they are more advanced, they would summarize and condense it in a way to that I would feel fully understood when repeated.

This has been a life changing process for me and it has not been as effective to do solo through writing. I've found that your tools has been super helpful at replacing a novice partner, that I'm actually finding I'm getting a lot of benefit from it right now!

Thank you so much.

Awesome!

Always interesting to see the diverse use cases for such a simple extension.
